May 15, 2011 4th Sunday of Easter: the Voice of the Shepherd!

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Tomorrow is going to be a great Celebration of God's Grace! It is the 4th Sunday of Easter and we are blessed to have Pastor David Andrus and others sharing with us the ministry to the blind and seeing impaired.

Pastor Andrus will be sharing the children's message and sermon. Aaron Weaver will be sharing his gift of music.

We will have an exceptional "Connection and Growth" time at 8:50. Jim Fry shares the next installment in the Covenant Study in the Sanctuary and Pastor Andrus shares with anyone who is interested on Lutheran Blind Missions http://www.blindmission.org/ in the Fire Side area. Childcare is provided. Sunday School is happening as usual.

We will also have a guest sharing about a mission to Jordon coming up with Antioch ministries.

Don't forget that we are recognizing our Graduates tomorrow!

After the 10:15 Service we will be having a BBQ lunch and during the 12:15 Service time we will have the Groundbreaking ceremony for the new Fellowship Hall addition! Please join us for the lunch, bring a dish to pass, the church will provide the meat and buns!

What a great and glorious day this will be! Christ has Risen! He has risen indeed!! Alleluia!!
Pastor Andrus will speaking on the "Voice of the Shepherd" from John 10:
Jesus said: "The watchman opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen to his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. When he has brought out all his own, he goes on ahead of them, and his sheep follow him because they know his voice. But they will never follow a stranger; in fact, they will run away from him because they do not recognize a stranger’s voice.”

Love in Christ our RISEN Lord and Savior,

Pastor Bryan
